British GT round 4 - Donington Park (1) - 2023
Lazenby Visuals missed the previous round of British GT at Silverstone thanks to being at Spa but we were there for Donington. With a mix of both fast and slow corners, different straights, chicanes and hairpins, the action at Donington rarely disappoints and this race was no different. Lots of action from the outset but only one safety car intervention, with the Greystone AMG spinning and rolling around midway through the race, luckily with no major injuries. A few mechanical issues and bits of contact saw a good number of cars retire, the RAM Racing AMG went out very early on due to damage sustained going over the kerbs at the chicane. After rather dramatically losing its rear wing coming into the Old Hairpin, the Enduro McLaren GT3 was doing well until it had contact within the last quarter of the race, spending the last 15 minutes parked inside the final corner. That meant the last corner being yellow flagged for the remainder of the race, taking away one overtaking opportunity for all those battles in the race.
