Dina Volskaya is a self-taught artist, living and working in Montenegro.
Despite two university degrees in history and the history of art, Dina worked as a scientific researcher for more than ten years, and has only recently made art her career having had an interest in art since childhood.
Dina also has a fascination with motorsport, and says that her two favourite places are at her easel with a paintbrush in her hand, and behind the wheel of her car.
Dina says, “In motorsport I see a deep meanings like heroism, overcoming, knowing your boundaries, introspection, culture, history, symbolism. It’s a sport that influences the course of history in general and changes private destinies. Motorsport is a source of knowledge and inspiration for me. So to draw motorsport is not just a motive of my art, it is the way of self-expression, my identification.”
